Rooftop Geolocation and UPRN Data Usage Terms

These additional terms are applicable when using our Service to extract Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) data and accompanying Rooftop Geolocation data.

Capturing UPRN and Rooftop Geolocation from the Service is only permitted for the confirmation of Client Customer details at the point of collection.

For more permissive usage of our UPRN and Rooftop Geolocation data, such as database enrichment, database creation, reselling and redistribution a separate Enterprise Agreement is required.

1. Permitted Use

1. The Client may freely use UPRN and Rooftop Geolocations supplied by Ideal Postcodes in accordance with these Usage Terms.

2. Conditions of Use

1. The Client must not permit access to, display or communicate to the public any solution which extracts UPRN or Rooftop Geolocation data, except for the purposes of capturing or confirming address details of third parties.
2. The Client must not make copies of Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data supplied by Ideal Postcodes except as permitted by these Terms or reasonably necessary for back-up, security, business continuity and system testing purposes.
3. The Client may use Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data for Data Extraction but Extracted Data:
   • May only be accessed by the Client Customers, and
   • Must not be supplied or any access to it provided to any third party.
4. Except as set out in these Terms, the Client must not:
   • Transfer, assign, sell or licence solutions or their use to any other person,
   • Use the Service to create a product or service distributed or sold to any third party which relies on any use of Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN data, including copying, looking up or enquiring, publishing, searching, analysing, modifying and reformatting, or
   • Copy, reproduce, extract, reutilise or publish Rooftop Geolocation and UPRN data.

3. Cessation of Use

1. The Client must cease use of Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data if their right to use Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data is terminated and also destroy any copies of Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data they hold.

4. Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data use by Client Customers

The Client must ensure that:

1. These Terms bind their Client Customers
2. Only their Client Customers exercise the use rights of Solutions and Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data granted to the Client further to these Terms, and
3. In the event of termination or expiry of Client' rights to use Solutions and Rooftop Geolocations and UPRN Data, the rights of Client Customers to use them also terminate.
